Greetings to all who are visiting this site!

The mission of MindsMatter Wellness Center is to promote mental wellness as a neuroscience and an integral part of each person’s overall health. We are committed to easing distress and helping each individual attain a deep authentic sense of joy and satisfaction.

We can help if you seek effective strategies to reduce stress, to improve your relationships, or to find more meaning and direction in your life.

MindsMatter Wellness Center is just that. A safe, “mindful,” non-judgmental place where Minds DO Matter and where we know that Minds ARE Matter!

Treatment Philosophy:

I am passionate about partnering with clients to reduce their distress, maximize their potential and attain a deep and genuine sense of happiness and health. I also desire to increase people’s awareness regarding the critical importance of mental health to our overall well–being as individuals, couples, families, and as a society.

For many years our culture stigmatized mental health problems and acted as though depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. were not legitimate medical concerns. Those beliefs often discouraged people from seeking and obtaining effective treatment for their distress. Fortunately, more progressive current trends to treat the “whole person” integrate mental health with physical health and are often referred to as the mind/body connection. As we learn more about the neurobiology of the brain, we begin to understand more of the intricate interplay between our minds, bodies, relationships, and environments.
